Applications for writers, editors, and assistant editors for the UVU Review are being accepted until April 19. Simply pick an application in SC 220 (and fill it out). Students will train during summer and work with the paper throughout fall and spring semesters.

Job Description:
Observe, learn, and participate as you follow the publishing process of a book—from the initial manuscript review to first draft edits to final proofreading to sending a completed book to press. In the process, you’ll assist with copy-to-copy proofreading, pre-press checks, and occasional “cold” proofreading. You may also write advertising copy (“blurbs”) for the covers of upcoming books.
Qualifications :
This internship is designed for English majors preferably in junior or senior level of coursework.
Must have exceptional proofreading and communication skills. Must pass an in-house proofreading/editing test with 80% or higher.
Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel is encouraged and previous editorial experience is a plus.
